Responsibility:
-INVESTIGATIONS: Assist, when directed, in conducting inquiries into incidents including thefts and unapproved exposure of product concepts, trade secrets, counterfeits, and product/production related fraud and integrity issues. Manage resources to independently conclude inquiries in adherence to Global Security & Investigations best practices and keep management informed of developments. Produce clear and concise reports from data gathered from interviews, online open sources,available government resources, and internal company resources.
-INCIDENT & CRISIS MANAGEMENT: Ensure proper documenting and reporting of all potential or actual security incidents,threats, and crimes impacting all sites under management. Respond in a timely and effective manner to crisis situations and emergencies.
-PHYSICAL SECURITY: Conduct inquiries into and provide strategic and tactical security advice to Mattel facilities and vendors to ensure appropriate and effective deployment of security resources, security personnel, security systems, and security-related infrastructure.
-PRODUCT SECURITY: Develop, implement and audit effective security, production and logistic controls for highly sensitive, high-value products, IP, trade secrets, and other special projects in design, development, manufacturing and distribution processes.
-RISK MANAGEMENT: Embed security practices, procedures, and processes into Mattel business and operational functions as well as key vendors and suppliers within Mattel's supply chain.
-SECURITY AUDIT: Perform periodic monitoring, audit and assessment, and report on the physical and product security programs including daily assessment and evaluation of security practices. Work with vendors factories/departments to identify gaps and correct deficiencies. Work with others to track progress on corrective actions.
-DUTY OF CARE : Take all steps that are reasonably possible to ensure all employees’ health, safety and wellbeing.
Requirement:
-Bachelor degree or above.
-High level of integrity.
-Five years' progressive work experience in corporate/private sector in investigations management function, or security including 3 years’ experience within a MNC.
-Experience with criminal and administrative enforcement.
-Three years’ experience supporting manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain operations, particularly in Greater China.
-In-depth knowledge of supply chain security standards (C-TPAT, TAPA).
-Solid understanding of security operations, security procedures, and electronic security systems.
-Ability to thoroughly assess and anticipate potential risks and propose appropriate mitigation solutions
-Critical-thinking skills & problem-solving ability.
-Experience conducting complex confidential internal and external investigations,particularly in China.
-Strong communication skills, can review complex, detailed information and condense potentially difficult issues into a clear, concise format.
-Interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and develop teams of people.
-Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
-Ability to develop productive relationships and partnerships across the organization.
-Fluent in English/Mandarin.
