Safety, a Product Area within Sandvik Tooling, is looking for a Sales Engineer to support our growing sales activities in China. Professional experience in technical sales, preferably in metal cutting tools is essential for being successful in this position.
In this key role, the Area sales Engineer, who reports directly to the Area Sales Manager, has a good understanding of our industry and is responsible for supporting the Sales strategy in China.
Our Sales Engineeer's primary objectives will be to:
- Achieve customerwise budgeted sales and profitability levels through providing total solutions directly as well as through distributors or other channels.
- Fully responsible for Customer and territory management. Will include regular servicing, provide technical support, training, entertainment, be proactive and become Customer's Preferred Partner.
His specific responsabilities will also include:
- Total customer management with active use of our CRM and other related management tools.
Increase customer profitability by means of providing productivity solutions.
- Provide complete technical services to all customers and distributors and ensure all products are used in a profitable way for the customer and in the correct manner.
- Efficient use of time prioritizing OTS, new customer development and new customer investments
- Maintain an understanding of developments in the market place with regards to competitor activity, new products and any other situations or factors which may have a bearing on Safety's business activities.
- Report all customer complaints
Submission of reports on sales activities and area development.
- Identify potential dealers to ensure all areas in the region are adequately covered..
- Do that little extra by constantly seeking challenges within the organization and customers.
Your profile:
The qualified candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 3 years experience in Sales / Marketing of metal cutting tools. This individual must be customer orientated and have acute communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory. Microsoft office skills.
