一家专业从事高压清洗机及配件的生产和销售的加拿大独资制造公司招聘一个运营经理的职位,公司位于中国宁波。这是一个为一家高速增长的全球化的公司工作的令人兴奋的机会。
向加拿大总部报告,运营经理负责工厂运营和提高效率,关注质量,并协调生产,质检,技术,和仓库等部门。运营经理工作主要是在实现最高产能和经营效率的同时保持公司的财务预算。
主要职责:
?全面领导和负责生产,质检,技术,和仓库等部门
?管理工厂的日常生产并解决问题;定期向加拿大总部报告
?通过有效的沟通来激励每个员工的过程改进和执行个体和团队的目标
?建立和激励我们的团队始终达到或超过生产目标
?在确保操作成本最小的前提下,最大幅度地提高产出
责任:
?与生产主管一起制定如何实现加班工作最小化
?衡量和提高生产力以降低成本和提高效率
?尽早地评估和预计到在安排和提高人员,设备,材料,装配,计划以及优先情况时可能出现的问题
?确保销售部门和生产部门的协调,同时与营销总监和生产主管一起合作
?对延期订单的监督
?确保质量控制过程的跟踪和与质检主管工作,减少出现质量问题

?建立和考核对物流和仓库的绩效指标
?根据仓库的情况产生报告

Operations Manager
Canadian-owned manufacturing company specializing in production and distribution of pressure washers and accessories is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to work in our Ningbo, China production plant. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global company with high growth projections in the near future.
Reporting to the Canadian Head Office, the Operations Manager oversees factory performance with a focus on improving efficiency, quality, and service in the Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving departments. The Operations Manager works to achieve maximum production and operating efficiencies while maintaining the financial budget of the company.
Key Accountabilities:
· Overall supervision, accountability and direction of Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving departments
· Manage daily plant operations and resolve issues; report regularly to the Canadian Head Office
· Inspire a drive for process improvement in each staff member by effectively communicating and executing individual and team goals
· Build and motivate our team to consistently meet or exceed production deadlines
· Maximize the level of factory output while ensuring operating costs are minimized
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement ways to minimize overtime labour in conjunction with Production Supervisor
· Measure and improve productivity in order to minimize cost and improve efficiencies
· Anticipate and pre-empt problems where possible when arranging and accelerating the flow of workers, equipment, materials, assemblies, schedules and priorities
· Ensure sales and production are coordinated and working together in conjunction with Marketing Director and Production Supervisor
· Oversee Backorder management
· Ensure Quality Control processes are followed and work toward reducing quality issues in conjunction with Quality Control Supervisor
· Capacity Planning
· Cost Control
· Create and review logistics and warehousing KPIs
· Produce reports based on warehouse operations
· Ensure factory is clean and organized according to company standards
· Oversee regular maintenance and prompt repair of machinery and other equipment
· Interview, hire and oversee the orientation and training of new staff (with management team)
· Manage staff attendance (vacation/time off requests)
· Conduct performance reviews and wage reviews together with Marketing Director and Canadian Head Office
· Address complaints and resolve problems
· Conduct fair and effective disciplinary action when required
· Set clear performance expectations for each team member and hold them accountable for results
· Comprehensively know and understand the work flow and staff
· Lead daily meetings to review the day’s workflow and identify priority issues
· Attend weekly management meeting with Marketing Director and Canadian Head Office to communicate departmental issues and regular operational updates
· Promote amicable cooperation between departments to maintain positive working environment
Competencies and Qualifications:
· Knowledge and understanding of production, quality management, warehousing and logistics
· Minimum 5 years experience in a management/leadership position in a mid or large size manufacturing environment
· Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field
You also have:
· Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
· Proactive communication and problem solving initiative
· Strong written and oral communication skills in English
· The ability to measure and improve performance in an industrial environment
· Experience in a factory environment
· The ability to create and maintain a team environment
· Excellent management and organizational skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results
· Ability to reason, make decisions and use independent judgment in various situations
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or verbal form
· Strong business acumen with respect to understanding how work process effects the bottom line
· Thorough knowledge of MS office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of Syspro would be an asset
· The ability to learn new computer applications and other technology as necessary
