Purpose

Mandate
The Security Controller is the person work with other functions to implement IKEA security process, ensure the security system normal operation, and continuously improve the co-workers’ loss prevention awareness to secure the store profit as proactive supporting business partners.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Life Safety & Security System Operation
? To handle with the day-to-day operation of all the equipment in the control room;
? Be Familiar with the fire detection system/ sprinkler flow alarm system/Evacuation announcement (PA System)/Smoke Management/Door access system/ CCTV system/ Emergency exit and door), and get rid of simple equipment failure;
? To ensure the life safety & security system in good order and control.
Night shift Responsibility
? To ensure all safety & security routine/process be fully implemented;
? To coordinate & ensure the night construction’s safety & security.
Emergency Response
? Familiar with the procedure of emergency affair(fire hazard/bomb threat/gas leak/typhoon.etc);
? Familiar with the procedure of emergency evacuation and accident prevention.
The documents
? According to the requirement of CCR, record and clean up the daily/weekly/monthly inspection of the equipment;
? Print and update the daily form for Control Centre Room and be documented.

Knowledge
Previous Safety & Security experience.
Fundamentals of security control and inventory loss prevention
Understand basic accident prevention legal demands
Fundamentals of fire codes knowledge of fire fighting
How to protect our wealth
Fundamentals of CCTV syste
