Responsibilities:
A Environmental Health and Safety
1 Performs studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.
2 Formulates general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
3 Oversees the compliance of the Lockout/Tagout program, which includes employee training.
4 Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, shops, and fire prevention and safety program.
5 Inspects or tours organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and recommends corrective or preventive measures where indicated.
6 Trains managers and employees on the hazards of working with toxic fumes, dangerous chemicals, and any other hazardous substances. This includes training on how to read MSDS sheets.
7 Provides training for any required safety licensing including forklift.
8 Participates in the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
9 Compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies.
10 Assists with the administration of workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier to cut down on lost employee time and cut back on unjust claims
11 Coordinates the 6S for Safety program and other training programs or media, which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness.
12 Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, industry conferences and exhibitions.
13 Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs.
14 Oversees all safety awareness programs which includes various types of incentives.
15 Maintains safety files and records
16 Develop teams, and serve as chairman, to study safety and ergonomics in the plant. Record team meetings, provide detailed investigation data so recommendations for improvements in work processes, equipment, supplies, proper employee training to do the job, are substantive. Provide measurable graphs to compare cost of improvements to actual cost of worker’s compensation injuries.
17 Oversees the administration of the First Responder program which includes providing training (Hella and state certified).
18 Strives for continual improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities.
19 Act as the Management Representative for the Environmental Management System (EMS).
20 Ensure that an EMS is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 14001.
21 Report to top management of the performance of the EMS for review, including recommendations for improvement.
22 Any other duties deemed critical for the day to day operations.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree, science major related.
2. Up to 3 years related working experience, automotive field experience is preferable.
3. Effective communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
4. Fluent English in oral and written.

Location: Jiaxing, Zhejiang.

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers. It’s estimated to put into production in Aug 2013 and the annual output could be more than 2200million. Then it will be the biggest Hella factory in China.
