Quality Manager (metal and plastic products)

    

Job summary:

Oversee the performance of quality department and develop strong problem solving capabilities. Work closely with suppliers and ensure the high quality standard of products to satisfy customer requirements.

    

Job descriptions:

1.      Supervise and maintain suppliers’ quality control programs of production and ensure zero defects in products.

2.      Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal resources about quality issues and suggest solutions to improve products quality.

3.      Establish products’ inspection criteria and evaluate the quality inspection reports prepared by quality engineers.

4.      Conduct suppliers’ appraisal and give opinion in new suppliers’ selection process.  

5.      Act as a key role in NPI (new product introduction) process and prepare PPAP related documents.

6.      Participate in the establishment, supervision, maintenance of quality system of suppliers. Ensure the continuous improvement of suppliers.

7.      Day to day management and supervision of quality department. Coach staffs and provide necessary trainings.

8.      Engage in the field inspection as back up to quality engineers.

  

 Hiring criteria:

1.      College degree or above, majoring in engineering science or related discipline.  

2.      At least 5 years of experience in overall quality management in foreign invested manufacturing companies and at least 3 years in managerial positions.

3.      Experience of ISO system (such as ISO9001:2009 and TS16949) is required. Lean or 6 Sigma experience will be a plus.

4.      Knowledge in plastic injection & metal fabrication process.

5.      Minimum 3 years of supplier qualification, development and manufacturing assessment.

6.      Process improvement experience, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and in-depth understanding of related processes.

7.      Excellent oral English, capable of discussing quality issues with overseas customers, as we as good reading and writing skills.

8.      Fluent in all aspects of Mandarin.

9.      Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, negotiating skills, collaboration and conflict resolution skills

10.    Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

11.    Ideally proficient in all MS office applications.

12.    Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required

13.    Able to work flexible business hours to facilitate communication /conference meetings between company and customers in abroad.
