What contribution will I make to Helen of Troy?

The purpose of this position is to work with BU Marketing team & Creative team in managing packaging development and approval. Build artworks per HOT guideline. Maintain packaging consistency, meet quality standard and lead time. And develop new skill or method to increase artwork production efficiency of the team.

What you’ll be doing?

- Work with BU marketing & creative teams to create and manage artwork files per requirement and guideline. Communicate with relative parties for artwork approval.

- Retouch product images. Ensure it matches actual product color perfectly.

- Assist the team to ensure packaging suppliers reach our requirements and quality standard. Including mock up/white box sample, press proof, pre-production sample and printed packaging

- Check artwork file per guideline and solve related issues before releasing to vendor/printer.

- Release artwork file & specification and prepare digital printing proof to suppliers.

- Support the team in approving pre-production sample.

- Assist Packaging Engineer, factories and related parties in solving artwork related issues, identify root cause and provide solutions.

- Be professional to develop new skill or method to increase artwork production efficiency of the team.

What are the requirements for consideration?

- Bachelor Degree in Packaging, Printing, graphic design or related discipline

- Have good knowledge of packaging, printing (pre-press, printing & post-press)

- Min 5 years relevant working experience in Packaging or Printing industry.

- Solid experience of artwork creation and photo retouching

- Good experience at artwork trouble shooting and quality control

- Familiar with Microsoft Office software

- Familiar with design Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, etc.),

- Good in written English and can communicate in oral English. Good command in Chinese / Mandarin

- Effective communication with overseas party and factory.

- Detail orientation, responsible, proactive attitude and be organized
