Responsiblity

A Quality assurance

1 Advise and manage suppliers of the respective materials group systematically with regard to Quality performance and further develop the suppliers together with the Competence Leader Material Group Management in Purchasing and support the implementation of the necessary quality requirements at suppliers

2 Evaluate the quality capabilities of suppliers within the context of selecting suppliers on the basis of Hella requirements and release new suppliers, new locations and new processes in consultation with superiors and involved entities

3 Plan, coordinate and conduct the process audits in accordance with current standards and track the suppliers audit action plan in agreement with the supervisor

4 Support Supplier Quality Assurance Time to Market (SQA-TtM) in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) phase for new technologies, suppliers, processes in the project teams and at suppliers

5 Participate in introduction and conduction of the supplier development programs to continuously improve the quality performance of suppliers and furthermore document progress and demonstrate the quality improvements at internal management meetings

6 Support SQA(OtD) with and support in major complaints, Quality problems caused by suppliers

Requirements

Working experience:

- At least 5 years’ experience, Overall 7 years of working experience and 4 years Q related ( SQA preferred)

- Automotive industry, preference: tier 1>tier 2>OEM

Technical background:

- Commodity experience & Technical skill

1. Be familiar with manufacturing processes ( each step, key parameters, key measurements …) of related commodity

2. Knowledge of tooling/related equipment ( 加分项)

3. Be able to identify root cause of typical failure modes of related commodity

- Quality tool

1. Basic knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA , FMEA and familiar with one or two of these

2. Experienced in supplier onsite audit

Education and Certification:

- Education background e.g. Bachelor and above;

- Certification e.g. VDA  VDA 6.3 , IATF 16949 ( 加分项)

Language skills:

- Working level English communication

Leadership and soft skills:

- Team leader experience;

- Smart communication and agile working style

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers. It’s estimated to put into production in Aug 2013 and the annual output could be more than 2200million. Then it will be the biggest Hella factory in China.
