Purpose
IKEA FOOD is also about encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food at low prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge.
Mandate
You support your manager in the implementation of the IKEA FOOD concept in the respective area of responsibility (Production, Restaurant, Co-worker Restaurant, Swedish Food Market, Bistro and Café), to increase the sales of IKEA home furnishings products and support the IKEA position as the leading home furnishings company. This involves generating store traffic, converting visitors to customers, strengthen the low-price profile and the Swedish identity of the IKEA store.
You are line responsible during the shift, when the manager of the area is not present. The Team Assistant does not have direct reports or conduct development talks.
Quality and Food Safety
? Ensure the operation of IKEA FOOD areas within the IKEA Store, in accordance with IKEA and national Food Safety Policy and IWAY.
Commerciality
? Work with your manager to actively contribute and support all marketing and in-store activities by integrating IKEA FOOD in the store's Commercial Calendar and use these as an opportunity to proactively drive sales. Ensure effective and economical handling of range changes including outgoing in your function according to the set timelines in the Commercial Calendar.
Efficiency
? Ensure implementation of the daily operational routines and actions set out by your manager for the area.
Leadership HR and Communication
? Run the shift in the absence of your manager.
Business Navigation
? Implement the agreed annual action plan for your area of responsibility to execute the IKEA FOOD national and Function business plan.
.Knowledge
? Has achieved a good level of experience as a co-worker within IKEA FOOD, or has acquired similar skills from an external commercial environment.
? Ability to manage the co-workers in the team.
? Readiness in understanding given objectives and in implementing actions.
? Computer literate.

? Good interpersonal skills and has the ability to motivate.
? Passionate about food and people.
? Interest in life at home and home furnishings.
