Job Summary:

I am responsible for delivering correct SMV's , materials consumption & simplifying products to ensure we achieve savings for F&F products & also support suppliers to introduce IE/LEAN tools to upgrade the factory standard.

Accountabilities:

• Reviewing costing sheet & providing required data to commercial colleagues to achieve the savings 
• Developing SMV database for all product categories by using GSD tool  
• Finding out fabric consumption by analyzing Mini & production marker of the products to ensure suppliers quoted the correct price for fabric   
• Calculating sewing thread consumption by using thread consumption software–Coats & A&E  to products to ensure suppliers quoted the correct price for Thread
• Analyzing garment construction to simplify & reduce the SMV of the garments 
• Recording & updating data base of SMV, fabric & Thread consumption
• Providing all required information to commercial colleagues for negotiation & achieve savings
• Attending in the negotiation meeting with suppliers to support colleagues if required 
• Follow-up commercial colleagues to update BFL & generate reports for senior people 
• Contribute on cost savings working closely with commercial collogues, UK team & suppliers  
• Achieve Objectives & Key Performance Indicators for  Industrial Engineers 
• Working with factories to improve the productivity & develop lean/IE tools 
• Support factories in terms of machineries upgrading, implementing IE's system & minimizing wastage 
• Arrange required training programs for suppliers to upskill them 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in manufacturing / production in the apparel industry 
• Knowledge of Methodology / Project Engineering / Costings
• Qualified in General Sewing Data / Industrial Engineering
• Certificate in Six Sigma Green Belt
• Familiar with the Manufacturing / Production Process and Systems
• Team player with strong customer focus and analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
