1. GENERAL SUMMARY:
1) Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with integrity of product design to assure manufacturability
2) Primary responsibility to assist new project introduction from CPD, EVT or migration to Shilu manufacturing and release product support.
3) Quality, cost and delivery effectiveness with a minimum of supervision and guidance

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Cell QDC daily management.
2) Cell Setup for the New projects and Migration projects
3) DBS Kaizen to the cells for the real DBS Culture (one piece flow, SW, KANBAN ...)
4) Raise the RED FLAG to production manager if the problem could not be solved within 30 minutes
5) Training new ME ENG for the daily works
6) Set up new project assembly fixtures, jig and improvement.
7) Build up new project SOP through working with RD engineer.
8) Train operator for new job required skills and certify operator skill level.
9) Perform other related duties as assigned.


3. REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' mechanical technical experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. At least 2 years' experiences with assembly, machine and equipment. 1-2 new product development experience is also desired.
2) Has some trouble shooting skill and can use IE tool to improve process
3) Fluent in both oral and written English.
4) Be familiar with the Auto CAD and Pro-E software.
5) Theories and concepts of manufacturing engineering with acknowledge of lean production and Kaizen is preferred.
6) NPI experience is preferred.

4. MEASUREMENT:
1)New production is successfully introduced into mass production.
2)Line down due to manufacturing process/equipment issue.
3)Productivity improved by means of DBS tool.
4)RTY improvement.
