Position: HR Manager, DOLE China
Direct Report: GM
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Contribute to local business plans adding value in business decision, create an environment where the DOLE culture is a living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and the market. Secure, develop, communicate, explain and follow-up the HR business plan and relevant actions confirming they support the fulfillment of the Asian HR strategy.
JOB REPONSIBILITY:
Leader/manager on site:
1. Related to DOLE leadership and values, act as a qualified speaking partner for managers regarding how relations and behavior in various situations affect working environment and business result.
2. Coach, support and develop the local HR team
3. With Management's clear direction on China biz development in coming 3-5 years, building the KPI system based on current status, closely coordinate with departments and branch offices on how to define performance index and link to C&B system/training model design/People development.
Competence Development on site:
1. Based on the business needs map current competence and future competence needs , analyse competence gap and lead recruitment and development actions from both individual and organizational perspective
2. Secure professional development processes in close cooperation with responsible line managers to fulfill the need of competence both today and in the future
3. Focus on analyzing and improve DOLE C&B system's competitiveness
Functional expert on site:
1. Ensure that country-specific and local labour related laws are followed
2. Secure that the recognition system (development possibilities, work/life balance, salaries, working conditions, benefits) is followed on local perspective
3. Secure the follow up tools (Voice, Business Review, Competence Review, HR KPIs etc) are implemented, running and appropriate actions are initiated that contribute to defined goals
4. Assignments common for all managerial functions:
5. As a member of the local management group, contribute to the operational excellence and the development of the Disctribution Center operation
6. Take a lead in more than one assignment, contributing in both site and Distribution Service area
7. Secure necessary information flow through the HQ and branch offices
8. Create and implement the Business & Action Plan
REQUIREMENTS:
-knowleadge:
1. University degree (Social, Human Resource, Economic) or equivalent in working experience
2. 10-15 years' experience in the Human Resource field or as a business manager with proven contribution in the Human Resource field
3. Basic knowledge of labor laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers...)
4. Profound knowledge and proven achievement on KPI management system and Compensation & Benefits strategy.
5. Prior experience in Competence Development
6. Eagerness to understand the DOLE business and the customers and market need
7. Fluent in English is must
-motivation and skills:
1. Good ability to communicate in a broad sense within diverse environment
2. Sound judgment and the ability to take decisions
3. Ability to "build" trustful relations and commitments with people on different levels
