Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with headquarters and suppliers independently, handle full range merchandising duties from products sourcing,development to shipment of goods;
2.Provide support to internal customers in projects and product development;
3. Evaluate & recommend suitable suppliers with competitive cost, quality and business terms;
4.Handle pricing and contract negotiation, information updating and cost improvement;
5.Orders and samples follow-up;
6. Manage and develop good relationship with ongoing suppliers and any other external agents;
7.Primarily responsible for sourcing of Food Products for the company supermarkets;
8. Availability to work and learn about other secondary areas, following company necessities.

Requirements:
1.Diploma or degree holder with at least 2 years as a merchandiser in an export company (foreign company is a plus) on food products. Experience with export to EU companies and /or retail are valued assets;
2. Knowledge and experience on factory and suppliers evaluation,on a commercial and production perspective; Experience working with Chinese food manufacturers is a plus;
3.Strong sourcing ability & good relationship with suppliers; Good business sense and negotiation skills;
4.Knowledge of quality control/certification requirements regarding export to EU markets and Supermarkets in Europe.
5.Self-motivated, well organized, able to work independently and under pressure;
6. Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin;
7. Developed computer skills Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
8. Experience in using of multiple sourcing methods such as: international fairs visit, internet use, institutional sources, past experience, specific sources for food manufacturer’s contacts etc…;
9.Technical products expertise is a valued asset;
10. General knowledge of the export process.
