Description:
A Web User Interface Developer will work closely with other members of the BOC project team to deliver high quality web applications for Internet Banking.
Essential Responsibilities :
1. Design software applications using HTML, Javascript, XML, JSP, JAVA, CSS among others.
2. Design and implement front-end business applications while working closely with developers to help generate requirements for backend development of Internet Banking.
3. Work with other developers on the project development team on the implementation of common frameworks and solutions.
4. Work with the Architects on implementing functional requirements of our various applications.
5. Interact with Quality Assurance personnel during system testing phases of application development.
6. Develop documentation including help text, report samples, and screen samples.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong HTML and JavaScript (AJAX, DOM, JSON) and Java skills
CSS experience
SVN or source management experience
Java, Servlets and JSP/JSTL experience
Strong Dojo Toolkit experience
Strong Web 2.0/RIA knowledge and experience
Strong User Interfacing knowledge
Proficient in analyzing software requirements and documenting technical specifications for web applications / services
Experience with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities
Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts
Self motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members
Committed team player with positive winning attitude
Ability to work within a team and work independently
Experience: Minimum of two years development experience in which the largest part of that time has been spent delivering web applications.
