Support Local/ HUB /regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a HUB Procurement & logistics/global category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Responsible the Category sourcing to supports the development and implementation global sourcing strategies for the electrification category such as eHouse, HVAC, FGS and others electrical items according to our scope of work. Early involvement during project bidding stage and support the execution team in managing the supplier performance. Purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

- Supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global Category leader.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
- Running benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.
- Creating local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of Local Business Line (LBL) and updates/maintains frame contracts.
- Supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
- On-boarding new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and running regular supplier evaluations and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
- Running regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold, initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system according to the purchase requisitions and aligning with standard procedures and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
- Fostering communications internally, externally and between different Divisions, Business Units and Functions and supporting the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication.

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, sales technical proposal, preferable with electrical engineering background.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry, working as Senior Category Specialist in Electrical and/or Automation category.
- Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and knowledge of SAP required
- Experience in conducting audit at supplier premises and evaluate to determine supplier qualification decision.
- Should have good contract negotiation skills, ability to understand contractual terms and negotiate with supplier for back to back flow down from customer contract to reduce project risk.
- Ability to travel for expediting supplier performance (if required).
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills expected.
- Should be fluent in English both in Written and Oral.
