Primarily, to grow ocean/air volume and develop all modes of business between CN and US by bridging the gap of communication barrier and imbalance of knowledge from one side to another.

The RDM must achieve all budgets, targets and key objectives aligned between Yusen Logistics China & Yusen Logistics US by carrying out business growth strategies and policies, while promoting the company’s total Supply Chain Solutions services and capabilities in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

? Align budget, targets & key objectives for routes to be covered, primarily focusing on the China – US route development

? Work with team to develop proposals which address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives

? Play a collaborative role in pricing the solutions/services offered to clients

? Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

? Present to, and consult with, mid- and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels

? Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels which will lead to increased sales

? Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

? Submit regular progress reports and ensure data is accurate

? Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within YLCN’s CRM and other management systems

? Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met for your area of responsibility

? Work with local sales team to prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Identify potential clients, mapping out the decision makers within the client organization

? Perform market research and build relationships with new clients

? Set up meetings between client decision makers and key internal stakeholders

? Plan approaches and pitches in collaboration with the Management and BD team members

Requirement include:

1- ？ Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma level) preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Freight Forwarding, Transport or a relevant discipline; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant commercial experience

2-？ Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain & Logistics/Transport

3- ？ Proven track record in building professional customer relationships and business opportunities from new and existing customers

4- ？ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present professionally to customers and industry professionals in one-on-one and group forum settings

5- ？ Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate successful business outcomes

6- ？ Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport businesses to provide credibility to presentations and interaction with clients and industry professionals

7- ？ Strong time management and planning skills
