BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of accounting, preparing budget & Forecast, fixed assets control, management report analysis, and managing statutory audit & local filing.


Core Accountabilities:

  • Supervise general accounting functions / Account Payable, ensuring appropriate internal controls, timeliness, accuracy, and adherences to corporate and governmental policy are maintained, also responsible for account receivable.
  • Manage to make timely business analysis of accounting information the balance sheet accounts, sub-ledger accounts, income statements.
  • Provide supervision to proper recording of invoice entries, proper accounting for managed facilities and those assets in our care are properly managed.
  • Lead the monthly and year-end closing to assure meeting internal deadlines
  • Oversee the daily accounting operations, manage the month end close and reporting
  • Responsible for annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Supervise team to do and approve ledger entries
  • Manage the annual audit process
  • Work with regional director to streamline process between Shenzhen and Macau
  • Manage monthly / quarterly / annual tax filing to Tax department (Only Shenzhen based)


Qualification and Experience Required:

  • University Degree or above in Accounting or equivalent

  • Certification in Accounting is preferred

  • At least 12 years relevant accounting experience with 5 year in managerial role (MNC is preferred)

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Experienced in managing full-set accounting book

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese / Mandarin

  • Knowledge of oracle system preferred

  • Hands-on experience on communicating with tax and other government agencies (Shenzhen only)


Specialised knowledge or skills Required:

  • Familiarity with PRC TAX/FINANCE law as well as International Accounting Standard
