Job Responsibility:
1.Support Sales Team to evaluate RFQ (request for quotation) and make technical proposal
2.Define the product design architecture, design concepts to meet RFQ
3.Customer interface throughout product development, follow and fulfill customer expectation from both objective and subjective, meanwhile drive customer using TRW product expertise
4.Undertake concept designs, detailed designs and lead junior engineer to finish all product development related data, e.g 3D, 2D, BOM, DFMEA...under on time manner and high quality
5.Lead DFM activity with supplier and organize design review throughout product development for both engineering internal and cross function teams
6.Undertake global simple products (e.g window lift switch, push-push switch, electrical park switch) development, and responsible for new knowledge, solution and cost down proposal seeking by doing benchmark for insistence
7.Supervise application activities in other regions in terms of simple products
8.Undertake global complex products application in China
9.Lead DFMEA for both engineering internal and cross function team external to ensure the robustness of the design
10.Support prototype engineers to complete prototype builds, debugging and trouble shooting
11.Fully understand test requirement from customer, and work together with test engineer for test plan creation, responsible for test failure analysis and resolution providing to improve design
12.Service, support and help when required during the product development stage as well as field returns or warranty returns
13.Work closely with the manufacturing department for production support activities
14.Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by department manager

Qualification Required:
1.At least Bachelor Degree
2.At least 8+ years mechanical development experience, and focus on plastic components
3.At least 5+ years automotive related design experience
4.At least 3+ years automotive switches or similar products development experiences
5.Excellent knowledge about automotive components functions (customer and system functions)
6.Master of DFMEA, Tolerance stack
7.Deep knowledge of tooling is preferred
8.Deep knowledge of 8D/5 phase is preferred
9.Familiar with illumination, resin, grease, painting, FEA and Mold-flow analysis
10.Fluent English is a must
11.Strong communication skills is preferred
12.Pressure, stress tolerance and team player
