Job Responsibilities:

? Monitor Vendor Performance

? Provide reports and data for Supplier Scorecard

? Action new vendor on-boarding & training

? Daily management of sourcing area / Process & team if have direct reports

? Download Design Sheets/Tech Packs/Artwork/ etc. and check the details

? Hand-off all development package to vendors & help vendors to arrange trims per BOM if needed (Softgoods)

? Cost Negotiations / Standard & Open Costing way of working & process

? Conduct high visibility and complex competitive negotiation processes

? Develop knowledge of end-to-end costs for area responsibility

? Lead & help to counter source fabric & trim for cost saving

? Suggest options to meet price target while maintaining Design’s aesthetic points

? Work on sample allocation and costings by vendors with Manager

? Ensure Vendors work correctly and effectively through GBSS for the development stage

? Product development samples accuracy & interpretation

? Obtain agreement with Vendors on development timelines for sampling & ensure on time samples

? Ensure all the development / range review sample are done as requested and meets all the requirement

? Manage sampling efficiency & Costs

? Answer vendor questions on styling for correct sampling

? Escalate any potential quality issues for bulk production

? Ensure Buyers Booking details are correct and received before booking styles with Vendors

? Handovers to Production team are correct and effective / on time

? Supports all continuous improvement process initiatives

? Prepare merchandising related reports when required

Requirements:

? At least 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role or as a Merchandiser

? Merchandise Sourcing, Production and end-to-end supply chain knowledge

? Experience of a Sourcing / Production Critical Path & tools to manage related milestones

? Experience of working in an overseas buying or sourcing office

? Knowledge of seasonal products, vendors and costs

? Clear understanding of financial measurements and how they impact sourcing

? Proficient in MS Office Suite.
