职位描述

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing product engineering, packaging, testing, and quality assurance functions. Have a good working knowledge of production equipment, production capabilities and quality requirements for ready to assemble products. This position also must analyze and evaluate project bottlenecks and problems to develop methods to improve processes. Additionally, this position ensures compliance with applicable standards for consumer safety and product integrity


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages and coordinates all activities the areas product engineering, packaging, testing, and quality assurance departments
2. Manages the team with the successful completion of all assigned projects.
3. Utilizes company personnel to implement process and product improvement.
4. Communicates with team members to remain informed of project progress.
5. Monitors completed projects to insure the projects expected results are being achieved.
6. Prepares status reports to advise management of the progress on projects.
7. Provide leadership and support to Business Unit members for assigned projects.
8. Ensures that direct reports are appropriately trained in Company policies and procedures related to their assigned responsibilities.
9. Identifies and provides, through internal or external resources, any training needs for direct reports.
10. Provides input for budgetary activities, including projected team operational cost and head count needs.
11. Evaluates and counsels staff as appropriate, in conjunction with Human Resources.
12. Works closely with suppliers to maintain and improve working relationships and find solutions to production and quality related challenges.
13. Ensues compliance to government and industry standards for consumer safety and product integrity.
14. Perform special assignments as required.

JOB REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor degree in engineering or in a technical discipline or associate technical degree with 3 years of technical management experience
2. Minimum 7 years working experience in relevant industrial field. Solid technical engineering background. More than 3 years as supervisor.
3. Experience in project management, problem solving, and design troubleshooting. Must have strong analytical skills.
4. Knowledge of ready to assemble (RTA) furniture products.
5. Knowledgeable in use AutoCAD
6. Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

3. Ability to motivate team mates while working to tight milestones and deadlines.
4. Good communication skill.
5. Proficient in both written and spoken English.
6. Ability to identify and execute product cost reductions.
