INTRODUCTION

Our department supply customer with turnkey solutions of powertrain. It is critical to the business that the solutions delivered perform effectively and price competitively. This role is acting as PE (project engineer leader) to take responsible for design, engineering and supporting the installation and commissioning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· In charge of electrical design & engineering in project.

· Communicate with customer for getting their real requirement & give best solution for projects.

Optimize the design concept & setup for new concept according to customer’s requirement.

· Provide technical support to project manager, proposal team.

· Work with project manager to plan & monitor the project progress to ensure on time delivery.

· Make detail control concept to guide hardware engineer, software engineer and robot engineer for detail design.

· Communicate with mechanical team during detail design phase.

· Communicate & support & lead external resources to catch up project timing.

KEY COMPETENCIES

· Strong technical mind set.

· Knowledge for Siemens PLC

· Some Knowledge of E-plan (P8) skills for making and reading electrical drawings.

· Ability to converse with colleagues from a variety of levels.

· Optimistic, dynamic and highly motivated.

· Good team player and communicator.

· Responsible attitude and committed to producing a high standard of work.

· Must respect the confidentiality of the information managed.

· Analyse issues.

· Independencein solving technical issues.

· Good knowledge of learning new products and good knowledge of understanding e-manuals.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Skills –

- Must be team and result oriented but capable of logical and original thought with the ability to react coolly under stress.

- Technical competence and familiarity with personal computers and software.

- Analytical.

- Experienced and capable individual who is self motivated,articulate,and good programming skills.

Knowledge –

- Know PLC control systems

- Good applications knowledge on power train.

- Computer software including Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and Internet.

Experience -

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PLC programming, Siemens high priority.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as leader control engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree in Engineering (Control, Software, Electronic or similar)

· Good at English

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be prepared to travel and be acceptable for flexible working hour.
