Definition
The logistic is responsible of the shipment organization of the goods from the factories to the delivery ports. He/She has to prepare all the documents, contact the suppliers, consolidate the shipments, contact the forwarder, to communicate with VEGOTEX shipment department in Belgium, obtain the status quo information from the production manager and keep her and the GM assistant updated regarding the shipments status.

Activities and tasks
?Shipment management
Obtain the information from the factories (volume, number of cartons, weigh, Hand over date…)
Close follow-up of the hand-over dead lines
Prepare the consolidation
Organize the appointments with the forwarding companies
Close follow-up of the preparation and the expedition of the documents
Follow-up closely the “ok for shipment” sample status
Informing any kind of delay and the reason of it to the GM assistant and PM
Proposing solutions according with the costs and timing for any unexpected delay .

Hierarchical: GM and production manager
Transverse: Merchandisers, logistic manager, and sourcing assistant

Skills
Minimum 5 years working experience in logistic management, able to work independently to get the job done with efficiency.
Be familiar with Excel, Word etc… common office software.
Good communication and problem solving skill.
Handle import and export shipments and related documents preparation/filed.
Form A, Form E application according to the HQ's requirements.
Payment verification and application.
Honest and responsible, self-motivated. Good interpersonal, customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Familiar with Woven/Knitted products and export garment standard, familiar with sampling/production process.
