Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead activities to improve quality system and performance of Tenneco suppliers.
2. Utilize standard Tenneco processes to audit new suppliers, and to drive suppliers improving to Tenneco requirement. Conduct technical review for the assigned commodity area.
3. Drive the supplier complaint management according to the defined escalation levels, lead the issue resolution and root-cause analysis processes associated with supplier quality issues.
4. Lead APQP and PPAP activities for the assigned projects and commodity.
5. Lead the supplier performance metrics in support of the bidding list.
6. Lead / Assist with roll out, training and implementation of global supplier quality procedures for suppliers and China plants.
7. Support efforts to fully realize cost saving opportunities.
8. Maintain required documentation and files.

Requirements
1. Demonstrate the use and good understanding of QS, TS is desired.
2. Familiar with and fluent using basic quality tools, such as SPC and MSA etc.
3. Execution - persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills.
4. Must be willing to work in a results based, fast paced environment, with minimal supervision
5. Capable to manage complex projects.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar.
2. Minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical components such as stamping, machining, casting, sinter metal parts etc.
3. Domestic and international travel is required.
4. Good knowledge in QS, TS and APQP processes. Certified TS and/or VDA6.3 auditor is preferred.
5. Fluent English in speaking and writing.
