Position: NPI Engineer
Location: ShenZhen, China
Reports to: Director of Production (Temporary)
Company is rapidly growing and expanding our presence in China. We are currently looking for candidates that have outstanding adaptability, entrepreneurial skills, technical know-how and that are willing to contribute to a young team environment that is conducive to innovation and progress for us.
Main duties are as following:
1. Coordinate with Supply Chain in China and Tamaggo Canada to improve the manufacture ability in order to simplify the manufacturing process, improve the yield and lower down the cost.
2. Develop and maintain the Tamaggo product manufacturing process flowchart
3. Manage the Tamaggo's product test protocol and default parameter set at contract manufacturers
4. Implement PLM system and leading the PLM data entry and integrity for new products, manage the ECN process within the company
5. Sourcing for new parts, develop new suppliers in China to meet the product development need
Requirements:
1. 6+ years minimum in manufacture engineering of electro, mechanical parts and modules for
consumer electronics, manufacturing line experience is required.
2. 3+ years using PLM system, setup and implementation experience is a definitely plus
3. On hands experience with SMT, Plastic Injection Molding, Metal processing, electron-mechanical
assembly, ICT, IPT and FCT method, process and techniques
4. Familiar with mechanical assembly design tools and Proven or ability on failure analysis and trouble shooting.
5. Understand the Tolerance analysis of assembles.
6. Verifiable background concerned with test data collection and analysis
7. Experience with the coordination of internal and external resources.
8. Strong project management experience.
9. Must have a bachelor degree or above in Electrical/mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
10. Minimum 3+ years in foreign invested company work experience or has equivalent North American
working experience (including study for master or bachelor degree).
11. Must be a team player.
Nice to have:
1. Knowledge with digital Camera products Manufacturing automation knowledge
2. Self-starter that requires only an idea of overall strategic plan and can then tactically execute to expeditious completion
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Confident "do what-ever it takes" mentality
5. Fluently in Chinese and English both speaking, reading and writing
