As a RnD Engineer - Web Software, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Robotics (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will contribute significantly to successful results in projects in Robot Supply Unit (SU) Product Group/Business Unit Robotics/Robotics and Motion division Shanghai, China. You will utilize your knowledge and skills to identify and implement innovative solutions.

？ Web software development in the dynamic agile global teams.
？ Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance web-based UI and application for ABB industrial and collaborative robots.
？ Candidate should support the software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering, technical design, change management, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing through production release.
？ Candidate should have good understanding on web application development and testing. Should have involved in projects especially Client/Server architecture in web environment and also good understanding of different client-side web technologies.

？ MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field.
？ 3+ years of experience in Developing Web application based on Node.js platform.
？ Good understanding of REST architecture, development of REST APIs and HTML and XML, HTTP, JSON.
？ Knowledge of Python, C++ is an added advantage.
？ Strong communication skill and highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work.
？ Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success.
？ Fluent in oral and written English.
