Main purpose of Job: Traffic operations listed below (main tasks)

? Covering offshore copper concentrates and offshore lead concentrates; as well as overseas copper blister to customers.

? Solely responsible for accessing and updating shipments

? Coordinate P&Ls, stock sheet and exposure.

? Coordinate handling of all issues relating to staff out of office.
People Management Responsibility:

Typical Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct contacts to customers

? Written and verbal contacts with suppliers and in particular receivers

? Visits where required to clients

? Co-ordinating the shipments with our customers contract negotiation, signature, coordinating of issuance

? Letter of credit negotiation according to sales contract terms, as well as amendments (value, expire date, terms) and acceptance where necessary of discrepancies.

? Arranging for inspection, sampling, assaying and umpire of the various products

? Declaring quotational periods (hedge) in writing with client - with solid understanding required concerning adjustments

? Preparing for all necessary documentation (holding certificates, bank releases, transport documents, due diligences, stock inspection, insurance, invoices etc.)

? Arrange assay exchange

? Checking and arranging payments, claims

? Put through pricing when customer order; work for pricing in nights and all kinds of none-work hours during LME working days.

2. Bank contacts

? Opening/checking letter of credit

? Arranging for documents and collection of payments


3. Shipping

? Arranging for the various international transport by sea-, rail-, barge and truck, vessel nominations and acceptances

? Arrange issuance of LOI where necessary in close coordination with finance and management

? Approval of vessels to only take place in presence of fully workable letter of credit and in absence thereof coordinate with management

? Insuring the cargo/transports

? Being in regular contact with shipping agents

- Minimum 2 years apprenticeship and commercial experience

- Good command in English, PC literacy

- Ability to be flexible and work to deadlines and under pressure

- Communication skills and numeral literacy are very important
