• The role is critical and focuses on providing technical solutions covering embedded devices for Video Door phone/Home automation/IOT projects with Legrand cutting-edge technologies.
• The SW Tech Leader collaborates with other professionals (China & Europe, SW&HW) to create high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
• The SW Tech Leader analyzes the requirements, designs the solutions, and defines the system/application architects and integration scenarios for the development.
• The SW Tech Leader defines system architecture, drives software requirements, SW functional specification and external SW interfaces; subdivides a complex application, during the design phase, into smaller, more manageable pieces and communicates these concepts to development teams.
• The SW Tech Leader  oversees and verifies the technical and application architectural work in projects during implementation to avoid architecture drifting, including: continuous architecture management; monitoring of internal software quality and structural changes; reviewing detailed SW design; implementing critical algorithms/components; setting up SW integration plan; updating of incremental requirements; reviewing code; Involving in resolution of critical test defects from unit- and integration test, SW integration and system integration test;  technical coaching of development team, etc.
• The SW Tech Leader dictates technical standards, including coding standards, tools, or platforms, drives for technical innovations to support the Project Leader on the continuous improvement process with the aim to improve development teams’ efficiency and quality of deliverables.
• The SW Tech Leader understands and supports the business cases, including: validating technology roadmaps; evaluating the selected technologies (e.g. by prototypes); evaluating external suppliers and validating deliverables of suppliers as well as supporting on Make-or-Buy decisions, etc.
• The SW Tech Leader researches and evaluates emerging technologies, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

• Effective analytical and conceptual skills to derive adequate solutions for technical problems
• Excellent reading and writing English.
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record in system architecture plus the ability to communicate at all levels within Legrand and with customers.
• In-depth Cross-function technical knowledge – Solid embedded development experience in various cloud technologies, virtual Servers, Databases, Middleware, cloud architectures like IaaS and PaaS
• Experience working with teams using agile development methodology like Scrum

• Ability to understand, create technical architecture documents and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
• Demonstrated technical leadership in Software development – from programming to architecture & software development life cycle.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or equivalent,  at least 8 years SW related working experience with different IT technologies and 3+ years experience in SW Tech Leader role.
