The Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.

As a Quality & Opex Specialist, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Division and Grid Integration (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai and Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

You will assure the effective implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.

1. Support Strategy:
a) Promote and supports the deployment of the local Quality and Operational Excellence (Q&OpEx) strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement, with resulting cost savings within the operation.
2. Operations:
a) Establish and implements Q&OpEx priorities and targets in cooperation with functional team members across all functions within the local operation, monitors progress and supports actions on deviations from targets.
3. Strengthen Organization:
a) Train and coaches’ local teams in the standard quality improvement approach (i.e. 4Q) to develop organization capability to continuously improve business practices and performance.
4. Operational Excellence:
a) Conduct benchmarking and best practice spreading within the operations to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance.
5. Quality Management System:
a) Assist with the creation and implementation of, and ensures conformance with, instructions, guidelines and procedures to drive standardization and consistent execution in delivery of customer requirements.
6. Customer:
a) Assist with the analysis and communication of customer perceptions to guide the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction.

？ Engineering Graduate is required.
？ 5-7 years of working experience with International Company in the role of OPEX Specialist and EPC Project experience.
？ Certified in Six sigma/Black belt will be a considered as an added advantage.
？ Expertise in Project management and Lean manufacturing tools.
？ Advanced in English language.
