Purpose
To strengthen the knowledge and understanding of local market and customers, we need the person who can steer the market research and customer understanding for local market, with focus on PMA. Also the person could lead the sharing of local market knowledge within the store management group and whole organization. And the person should be responsible for IKEA catalogue distribution in the market.
Mandate
To drive the local market research strategy and plan based on need. Conduct own investigations when needed with simple means. Marketing database gives possibilities. Keep a steady eye on the PMA and what is going on there. Improve the distribution by closely working with different vendors.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Drive the local market research strategy and plan based on need.
· Collect the needs for market (PMA and customers) understanding and formulate the local research strategy based on thinking how to support the brand establish and commercial priorities.
Secure the research plan implantation in a professional way.
· Work together with research vendors and secure the research quality.
· Give relevant input and prepare highlights on local research.
Secure and improve the catalogue distribution
· Set clear distribution strategy and plan
· Work together and drive local vendors for improving distribution quality.
Knowledge
A strong understanding of IKEA Marketing.
Very good understanding about statistics, research method and data analysis
Good background could be either behaviour science (psychology,
Pedagogic, sociology, anthropology) OR economic/finance with an interest in consumer behaviour.
