JOB SUMMARY



By efficient communication with division, sourcing, engineering and quality functions in DJG China, as well as suppliers, Customers and Forwarders, Supplier Coordinator is responsible for order creation and confirmation in JDE system; shipment following up; shipping documents preparing, documents check-up, approval and payment; factory audit, product testing and shipping marks tracking; vendor on-time-delivery monitoring, analysis taken on shipments and LSP program implementation; forwarder system discrepancies approval; timely foresee and proactive any potential obstacles in the process of order management so as to ensure 100% on time delivery; third party samples booking, tracking and payment settle up.



Maintain supplier, carrier, Forwarder, division, customer, product, PO data base, Documents and Samples Record.
Work & monitor divisions' forecast & order plan, supplier's material order, production plan and assure 100% on time delivery. Provide updated data and root cause of delivery failure for related dept for problem solving.
Track or create necessary shipping documents per customers/divisions requirement on time and check suppliers' documents for payment approval. Assure suppliers would have updated product testing or auditing certificate prior to shipment.
Defining opportunities to reduce company inventory such as shorten order lead-time, reduce order minimum quantity, freight consolidation.
Train supplier to meet our needs per Supplier Chain' work requirement.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strictly follow up assigned SOP and system instruction to handle the job.

2. PO creation and confirmation in JDE system, key-in PO and all related shipping data into shipping system and follow up on alert notice yielded and handle problems throughout production process

3. Assist vendor to provide necessary sample for testing and approving.

4. Monitor supplier's factory audit and carton marks approval before production.

5. Monitor vendor effect shipment on time. Communicate with relevant parties in case of any failure for a best solution to ensure 100% On-time-delivery.

6. Submit correct documents to related parties within the timeframe to ensure no penalties.

7. Check Suppliers documents and approve them for payment.

8. Keep all shipping documents in order and good filling.

9. Proactive problems, immediate & proper reaction taken on any issues happened during on time delivery and carry out LSP program.

10. Keep close & good communication with divisions, vendors, customers and other relevant parties.

11. Keep close contact with forwarders to clarify and approve discrepancies.

12. Book and track third party samples dispatch and payment settle up.

13. Others assigned by management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS



EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

College graduated, international trade or manufacturing experience is preferable. Minimum 3 years working experiences in shipping, Logistics, supplier chain & or production planning related field. Experience with Juvenile Products and Toys is preferred.



SKILLS:

1. Serious, hard working, proactive, team spirit with high responsibility. Good communication skills and follow discipline set by dept/company.

2. Experiences in shipping, logistics, supplier chain, forecast & production planning, international trade and shipping documentation preparation Good command of English and Chinese in both speaking and writing.

3.Experience with JDE or ECN system will be preferred
