We are helping our client, a world famous automobile spare part manufacturing company, to find qualified candidates for below positions. Please be noted that this posiiton is located in Chang Zhou, Jiang Su province.
POSITION TITLE: Release Analyst
BASIC FUNCTION
Manage the ERP Customer Order Base to ensure on-time delivery of products to support customer needs.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
?Maintain order base integrity. (Manual order entry, accum reconciliation)
?Coordinate daily outgoing shipments and all customer communications associated with shipments, including engineering, sample and PTR orders.
?Generate, review and modify all shipping schedules to meet customer expectations.
?Negotiate MWP interests for all expedited shipments.
?Process daily Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
?Participate in Review and Dispute of Delivery Errors identified by customers.
?Review and update customer web based systems as required for comparison to Schedule and Schedule exceptions.
?Maintain part, container, ship to relationships in ERP system.
?Ongoing training - online and seminars (customer mandated)
?Modify customer schedules to feed / update ERP system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
?Strong interpersonal skills
?Strong organizational skills
?Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft)
?Demonstrated customer service skills
?Demonstrated negotiation skills
?Demonstrated multi tasking skills
?Two year technical or business degree or two years related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
?Automotive EDI experience or technical background with EDI
?Four year technical or business degree or four years related experience
?Familiarity with ERP type systems, customer (3rd party) web based systems

POSITION CHALLENGES
?Satisfying customer product shipment needs in the fast paced "Just-In-Time" environment.
?Maintaining order base data integrity given customer EDI data which may contain errors.
?Negotiating and challenging the customer for premium freight responsibility.
?Remaining diplomatic in demanding customer communications.
?Offline tracking of customer requirements (IAA, Alert, P.O. Maint.), short term exceptions.
?100 % accuracy in every customer communication.
?Communicate priorities from customers to appropriate Internal Customers
?Coordination with Shipping routine and exception orders.
