Job Description:
To support the organization by providing expertise in supplier Assurance activities for future programs and current production. Responsible for implementing, controlling, and documenting systems and procedures that assures safety and efficacy of products and services purchased by XX. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter, who enjoys an international business atmosphere.
Scope:
Direct Reports: None
Principal accountabilities (Essential functions):

Level of Responsibility: Manage / Negotiates with suppliers in Asia.

1.1. Implements SQA programs to ensure customer quality concerns are addressed.
1.2. Monitor supplier's production process, inspection and test procedures/controls.
1.3. Audit suppliers ensuring good manufacturing practice requirements are consistently achieved and continuous improvement activities are executed (quality, cost, efficiency, etc...).
1.4. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during supplier quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
1.5. Applies Quality tools for analyzing supplier's performance to evaluate the current process and process changes.
1.6. Participate with Engineering, Test Engineering and Manufacturing regarding corrective action of issues. Review and follow up changes proposed by Engineering or Supplier to validate feasibility of potential modifications.
1.7. Execute with supplier the part qualification (PVP/SPPAP) procedure.
1.8. Organize and chair meetings relative to part status and prepare status reports as necessary.

Requirements:
College Degree with Engineering background.
3+ year experience in Quality and or Supplier Quality Assurance function (desirable).
Willing to work under pressure.
Good English skills, including written, spoken and reading.
Technical competencies (Knowledge, skills, abilities):
Quality System Auditor (ISO/TS/VDA)
Continuous Improvement Tools (lean manufacturing, 6 sigma)
Quality Tools (8ds, FMEA, 5why,etc...)
Negotiations skills
Get information skills
