Job Summary:
岗位概述：
The Launch Manager ensures communication and application of program management principles between Manufacturing and Engineering during the all program phases from Screening / RFQ to “SOP+90”. His/her particular focus will be on the early phases of the programs to ensure execution of (simultaneous) product- and process development, including manufacturing feasibility reviews with design/engineering. He/she will ensure continuous flow of consistent information between all the functional areas of the program- and launch teams (in China and with outside teams) and timely processing, followed up and conclusion of project topics.
He/she shall facilitate the introduction and application of standard procedures for analysis of (customer-) requirements, launch planning (i.e. “translation” of the customer requirement data (and dates) into robust launch timing for the plants) and execution, and the follow up and early escalation of (potential) issues. He/she shall identify gaps and propose appropriate solutions,
He/she will work closely with the Manager for TenPLUS, the AME/CCT Managers, Launch Engineers and Program Managers in the plants to coordinate the input to industrialisation of all functional areas.

The duties and responsibilities of the Corporate Launch Manager are defined by the scope of RASIC Chart for Program Management:
? Apply standard procedures for new program industrialisation considering customer specific requirements. Working knowledge of the basic principles of Project Management, APQP, ISO/TS16949, VDA6.3 etc as well as TEN standards such as TenPLUS is required.
? Closely link with Program Management Office (PMO) and Project Managers in China and peers in other SBUs to develop new procedures, improve current procedures, and ensure alignment in application of the procedures
? To assist plants to prepare investment approval (C.A.R)
? Collect, update and prepare project related information for consistent communication between the TEN project teams within the JVs in China, the program management and the related global function teams, and if necessary, also with the customers both in China and EU
? To coordinate resource to cover Mfg feasibility study led by tech center
? To facilitate regular meetings with cross-function teams to update the latest program status and monitor progress to the agreed plan.
? Early identification of risk and thru coordination of resource to provide solutions and follow up via action plans, apply escalation procedure as necessary
? To coordinate resource to assist plants preparing for (customer) audits
? For multi-plants program to ensure manufacturing process alignment between CN plants beginning from Screening and Quotation.
? Support cost estimation process incl. application of STD equipment / tooling / fixtures / gauges and the application of Mfg concept/Fixture design
? As directed – development of plant industrialisation resources skills/knowledge in the hard and soft skill required for a successful industrialisation.

Requirements（Education/Certification/Work Experience/Skills）:

？ 4 to 6 years experience in manufacturing company or mechanical industry related to automotive business, preferred in project management / industrialization / industrial engineering, ideally in a multi-plant and international / multicultural environment
？ Experience in manufacturing processes and working knowledge on shop floor welcome
？ Analytical skills, conceptual thinking, structured approach to topics, drive to execution, accountable
？ Self starter & doer with sound base education (we do not want a scientist nor a clerk)
？ Ability to teach and coach with good interpersonal skills
？ Strong communication skills both in English and Chinese – German, Japanese and other language skills welcome
？ Mutual understanding and application of project management
？ Mutual understanding of customer specific requirements / APQP and Quality Systems, such as ISO/TS 16949 / VDA6.1 / QS900x
？ Understanding of process capability, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma (ideally Green Belt / Black Belt), GD&T, MSA, Gauge R&R, Run@Rate, VA/VE
？ Mutual understanding Tenneco systems: BOS (Business Operating System), EVA (Economic Value Added), TVM (Total Value Management), CpK-pre-assessment
？ Ability to function and lead in a team environment
？ Ability to travel to support the job function and attend training sessions, seminars, and conferences to expand job knowledge and skills repertoire, within China and to intercontinental
