Job Scope:
Responsible for preparing technical solutions & quotations for AI equipment.

Key Duties:
·Review and understand customer’s inquiry specifications
·Develop “Proposed Concept”
·Line-up Sub-Supplier/Vendors
·Review Sub-Supplier/Vendors quotes for content and compliance
·Identify possible assembly process improvements
·Coordinate customer activities, (i.e. attend/arrange meetings)
·Prepare Proposal concept drawings
·Prepare quotation document
·Prepare presentation materials
· Develop a ‘full cost’ estimate based on identifying equipment and sub-supplier vendor quotes
· Prepare job cost budgets for ‘sold’ business

Education & Experience Required:
·Engineering degree preferred
·3-5 years engineering experience with automotive industry or auto parts manufacturing process & welding process.
·Prior proposal and estimating experience a plus
· Shop floor experience (in a addition to engineering) a plus

Business/Technical Skills Preferred:
·Basic computer skills with experience using Micro-Soft Word and Excel
·Good English skill in technical writing and speaking ability.
·Strong ability to communicate verbally and written.
· AutoCAD experience; 3D mechanical design experience preferred.
· Understanding of basic accounting practices/cost development

Behavioral Skills Preferred:
