As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation (IA) Division and Process Industries (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, he or she should be responsible for supplier quality management of pulp & paper factory which included oversea and domestic suppliers.

Your Tasks as a Supplier Quality Engineer will include the following:

? Be response for supplier quality management to drive supplier to correct and improve their quality performance.
? Be response for supplier defect material disposition along with buyers by following NCR program.
? Regular supplier audit and on-site monitor the manufacturing process control to ensure the parts quality.
? Quality data collection and analysis for supplier quality performance monitoring and improvement purpose.
? Release SCAR to drive supplier for quality case correction and prevention.
? OPQ data collection & analysis.
? Perform SPC, MSA, FMEA etc. for the product/process for which they are needed.
? Active development of quality mind-set to all parts of supply unit, leading by example and coach to improve colleagues.
? Implement the quality system, solve product processing problem timely, ensure product quality, meets and exceeds customer requirement.
? Participate/lead OpEx project for any improvement opportunities identified.
? Quality report prepared.
? Any other assigned tasks from superiors.

Ideally you should have Bachelor’s degree or above major in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation coupled with at least 3 years of quality experience in an international company. You must have experience in SAP QM module operating and should be familiar with supplier quality tools like Control Plan, PPAP, QC 7 tools, FMEA, 5why, 8D report and Microsoft office tools along with excellent planning, organization, prioritization and interpersonal skills will make you an ideal match. Candidates should have good command of English both written and verbal.
