国际消费类电子产品展览会(International Consumer ElectronicsShow,简称CES),由美国电子消费品制造商协会(简称CEA)主办,旨在促进尖端电子技术和现代生活的紧密结合。每年一月在世界著名赌城——拉斯维加斯举办,是世界上较大、影响较为广泛的消费类电子技术年展,也是全球消费技术产业的盛会。该展览会专业性强,贸易效果好,在世界上享有相当高的知名度。历年的CES展会均云集了当前优秀的传统消费类电子厂商和IT核心厂商,他们带去了先进的技术理念和产品,吸引了众多的高新技术设备爱好者、使用者及业界观众。迄今为止已经成功举行了50届。
CES is the world's gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for 50 years — the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. As the largest hands-on event of its kind, CES features all aspects of the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as point of contact for key exhibitors/prospects for CES Asia. Attend CES both in Asia and the United States and provide support as needed
2. Working with Vice President, International Sales to manage sales activity, including selling exhibit space, floor plan management, database development, effective forecasting, and customer dispute resolution
3.Assist in the development of sales proposals to attract key companies identified in the sales plan and track outreach to these companies, with a goal of the key companies exhibiting in CES Asia in paid exhibit space
4. Provide general customer service to prospects and exhibitors. Must maintain high standards of responding to customers urgently and empathetically. Answer exhibitor questions related to various vendors including SNIEC; Official Contractor; Freight Forwarder etc
5. Ensure that exhibitor payments are made in a timely manner
6. Identify new ways for companies to maximize their presence on the show floor whether in their booth or elsewhere, such as sponsorships
7. Assist companies in obtaining necessary approvals from various venues on their booth design to ensure they are within the guidelines provided by the convention facility
8. Assist Operations team in communicating the rules/procedures outlined in the exhibitor manual to exhibitors and serve as liaison with key vendors when necessary
9. Work with Vice President, International Sales and Intex team to floor companies appropriately on the floorplans
10. Provide weekly updates as to status of sales outreach to the key prospects/exhibitors, and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline
11. Assist in preparing and instructing new staff and consultants assisting in CES Asia sales and business development efforts
12. Be available to travel within China/Asia as necessary for normal business duties and to shareholders headquarters in the U.S. for sales training if necessary
13. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, event management, or related field required.Must possess at least 8-10 years’ of related experience including international business and Sales Management experience: goal setting, territory and pipeline management, sales forecasting and plan writing
2. Must possess knowledge/experience of trade show sales, floor plan management, and general show/event operations and has strong customer service skills
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Sales Contact Management Systems, Salesforce preferred
5. Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners;Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
6. Demonstrates sound business sense and ability to see "the big picture".Strong work ethic; commitment to seeing duties completed at a high standard of quality
7. Willing to travel extensively within and outside of China
