1. Main Objectives of this position:
? Support Sales Execution on sales administration issues
2. Function and duties:
Tasks
The Sales Support – Sub Area, China is responsible to:
? Handle quotations for customers
? File agreed rates in Hapag Lloyd systems
? Follow up with existing customers (mostly FOB) to maintain their support
? Coordinate with customers on space forecast
? Qualify sales leads for sales executives, at least10 import sales leads monthly
? Promote Hapag Lloyd new products
? Handle/co-ordinate complaints or objections
? Validate new customers and establish SOP
Duties and Responsibilities
? Quotations
o Handle quotations through FIS
o Upon received confirmations from customers file agreed rates in FIS
? Customer maintenance
o Regularly contact customers as assigned and record follow up actions in SAM
o Ensure the monthly KPI of number of calls be met
o Collate space forecasts from customers and coordinate with Sales Steering
? Sales support
o Qualify sales leads from overseas offices
o Handle/co-ordinate complaints or objections
o Liase with CS and BA for rate dispute
o Handle Customer Data Management (local FIS Organization Catalog administration)
o New customer validation and SOP
o Promote new products to our customers e.g. intermodal services to our customers
o Communicate with customers on advisories e.g. GRI, service changes
3. Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
? Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a plus
? Minimum 2 years experiences in the sales and marketing field
4. Success Criteria for Position:
? Effective communicator, fluent in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written
? Positive and pleasant attitude, a team-player
? Enhanced communication skills with customers and agents
? Teamwork and general individual development
? Comprehensive knowledge of user application systems (FIS, SAM, MS Office)

? Responsible for a part of local HR/ Adm./ FIN working duties
