Job Responsibilities

• Direct the development and implementation of activities to achieve
  established plant goals, including safety, quality, and operational performance
  objectives and target for P&L performance.

• Establish solid working relationships and providing strategic alignment,
  including significantly influencing the development and alignment of the
  overall business strategy of operation.

• Direct/indirect labor resource plan and overall OTD team succession and
  people development

• Responsible for growing and nurturing the operational excellence culture.

• Direct and coordinate plant order-to-delivery operations
  within HELLA global policies and procedures. Plan, organize and direct the
  Manufacturing and Maintenance & Facility, EHS, PT, PP, OpEx, Logistics, QA,
  which ensure the most effective return on assets,flawless launch,on time delivery,cost reduction,20PPM quality
  level, safety operation, to finally meet EBIT target.

• Initiative plans and processes which minimize
  manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment,
  facilities, materials, and capital. Assure attainment of business objectives
  and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our
  customers’ expectations

• Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to
  ensure that the facility supports Hella strategic initiatives

• Establish group and individual accountabilities
  throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on
  a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.

• Improve manpower utilization within existing departments
  and processes.

• Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on
  efficiencies.

• Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes
  in production volume.

• Assure that collective bargaining agreements are
  effectively administered and that employee grievances are addressed in a timely
  fashion.

• Work to establish management practices throughout
  assigned areas, which include all employees’ positive involvement with
  opportunity for construction input and action.

• Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest
  production and production management concepts

• Establish and maintain a positive community relationship

• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.

• Confer with department heads to ensure coordination
  within HBBL.

• Responsible for supply chain management and on time
  delivery to international and local customer, with targeted freight and lead
  time, inventory level.

• Select and train plant supervisory and administrative
  staff.

• Conduct employee performance reviews.

• Schedule and conduct plant meetings.

• Responsible for consistent product quality from the plant
  by systematic working by CMS and follow up the TS16949 / TUV 6.3 requirements

• Responsible for planning, leading all manufacturing
  activities to ensure the achievement of company target on production output,
  quality, delivery and cost control;

• Lead for the technology update include the LPP/PC/Normal
  molding and metalizing、hotplate welding、ultrasonic welding
  improvement to meet new products development.

• Leading for the Process Planning for new project and
  following development to develop new market and inspire potential.

• Make proper arrangement on the progress on production;
  implement lean production to ensure to the best extent of maximum Productivity;
  Responsible for plant EHS and do communication with Local authority, supervise
  the EHS in the plant to ensure safety production,environmental
  compliance by implement global Hella CMS.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years’ management experience in the field of manufacturing in auto
  parts industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree or above, MBA preferred

• Proficient in English

• Strong management skill, can act as an inspiring leader

• Familiar with Lighting Manufacturing Process

• Familiar with TS16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18001

• Strong awareness and method of cost control

• Creative thinking, Strategic thinking and Can-do attitude

• Solid knowledge in lean manufacture and TPM concept

• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
