Senior/Staff Application Engineer (Audio Department)
Location: Shanghai
This position will offer opportunities to focus on application engineer for audio related products. The candidate will primarily focus on:
? Work with cross-functional teams, Product, Design, Process and QA engineers on new silicon development from early phases of product definition to production phase.
? Assist the project team during the device development phase, with valuable contributions on prototype, verification, evaluation, etc.,
? Responsible for delivering field technical support on audio products/solutions with in-depth design assistance
? Proactively demonstrate audio products/solutions to meet customer’s specification and conditions, propose customized solutions together with relative marketing/sales and technical expertise in team.
? Establish good contact with Customer’s technical team, tracking design-in projects progress with regular updates, will have to debug issues faced by the customer in Lab and field, will be required to suggest patches/work-arounds for blocking customer issues.
? Deliver trainings to field team and distribution
Requirements:
? Master or doctor degree or 5+ years in relevant disciplines, such as electronics/electrical engineering, microelectronics, embedded system, computer science, etc;
? Strong interpersonal skills, able to comfortably work with multiple internal teams across global as well as customers
? Attitude of enthusiasm, curiosity, continuous learning, and desire for success as a team
? The candidate who can meet one or more criteria as below are strongly preferred:
o Good knowledge/experience on Audio ICs (Codec /ADC /DAC /Class-D). Experience on audio test equipments like Audio Precision is a big plus.
o Good knowledge and experience of audio product evaluation and applications
o Experience of PCB board design
o Experience of C/C++ language firmware programming
o Experience of hardware system design, such as MCS51/ARM/FPGA system
o Experience of interface circuit design and applications, like USB, UART, SPI, I2C,IIS etc.
o Good knowledge on Labview programming
