职位描述：
1. Main Objectives of this position:
Provides the main entry point for all shipping from clients. Responsible for the tracking of a shipment from the time it is booked until it is delivered and for dealing with customers’ questions and information needs during that part of the shipping process.

2. Function and duties:
- Shipment request evaluation
o AMS/ACI Self filer verification
o Credit worthiness
o Time (Late booking, booking in time, AMS/ACI relevance check)
- Identifies the route that will move containers from the beginning to the ending location
- Creates bookings in FIS and accurately assigns rates
o Allocation check
o Works with the Equipment Department to determine equipment availability
o Shipment definition
o AMS/ACI self filer specification
o Shipment announce
o Shipment status check
o Shipment rating and RA/ Tariff retrieval
- Creates and distribute Booking Confirmations
- Filing of documents
- Ensures that any and all documentation required for a shipment is received in a timely manner
- Updates bookings when necessary and notifies all affected parties of changes
- Attends to telephone enquiries from customers
- Coordinates with terminal operations to assure efficient and effective handling of shipments
- Corresponds with world-wide offices to track shipments
- Works closely with all departments to assure specific customers’ needs are handled appropriately

3. Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Maritime Industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Effective communicator, fluent in English (CET-4 or above.)and Mandarin, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
- Positive and pleasant attitude, a team-player
- Willing to work under high pressure
- Computer literate - well versed in MS excel
- Conveys information clearly over the phone; expresses patience, empathy and understanding with voice alone; extracts meaning from conversations with people whose native language is other than their own; is polite when asking people to repeat; calms those who are angry and manages multiple calls effectively.
- Understands what Hapag-Lloyd offers customers and what routes, equipment, rates and services are available.
- Understands specific customer’s goods, shipment requirements and practices. Has an understanding of special rates which might be assigned and knows when to check with sales for possible special rate assignment. 举报 分享
