Responsibility

1 Production support

Professional support for production in terms of production engineering (coordination of new start-ups, machine setup, shifts, system parameters, machine engineering, materials, etc.) with involved org. units to ensure smooth, low cost and reliable production start-up

2 Solution concepts / elimination of malfunctions / quality optimization

Analysis of sources of error and determination of causes in context with equipment, machines and processes used and establishment of measures for their elimination; determination of optimization possibilities to ensure process reliability, minimize reject production and increase quality.

3 Process development

Advancement of present processes and implementation of new processes to secure know-how and competitive head-start as well as reduce costs and promote recycling.

4 Development strategies

Cooperation in development of new strategies for assembly to secure competitive advantage and innovation.

5 Equipment / Investment planning

Evaluation of plant and operating equipment data and decisions for correcting degree of utilization (scrapping, moving production, procurement of equipment, etc.) as well as cooperation in working out investment plans to achieve optimum utilization of plant/operating equipment as well as optimum production conditions.

6 Guidelines / standards / project supervision

Coordination of projects, working out guidelines and cooperation in procedures for standardization to make production and process more reliable and efficient.

7 Personnel leadership

Leadership by setting targets (and delegation), qualification and motivation, development of potentials and competencies to achieve targets set.

Tasks / Area of Responsibility

Support for production in terms of production and process engineering (e.g. completion of structural and technical

layout, injection molding, painting, assembly equipment) in consideration of quantity, deadlines, costs, quality and

accident prevention as well as development of technical application strategies/ plans to obtain technology high quality

and efficient product production.

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers. It’s estimated to put into production in Aug 2013 and the annual output could be more than 2200million. Then it will be the biggest Hella factory in China.
