JOB SUMMARY:
Accountable for product quality via sustainable manufacturing process management at vendors.

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Based in Dongguan with other local QA and R&D staff. Reports directly to Roy Ku (CSG Asia Director of Quality & Compliance). Has oversight of the QA/QC specific to his/her vendor and/or regional assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define SOP audit frequency according to PFMEA RPN and sales volume to manage potential quality risk efficiently.
Audit vendor SOP implementation to ensure products are made in a sustainable process which including the consideration of man, machine, material, methodology and environment.
Debrief audit report to vendor and follow up with vendor on corrective actions until audit failed points are closed.
Submit audit consolidation report to management team for monthly analysis and vendor scorecard evaluation.
Guarantee supplier owning inspection (OQC) is well executed and able to detect failures before shipping.
Audit vendor incoming inspection and in process quality control to have early detection of failures and advise AQL level to vendor to maintain high first pass yield in production.
Frequently analyze field claims to adapt SOP audit priority accordingly and provide analytic to QE for system enhancement.
Issue CAR to vendor in case of failures detected and follow up the implementation of corrective/preventive action until CAR is closed.
Provide corrective/preventive action report to quality engineer for process flow chart/PFMEA/Control plan updates in order to continue improve quality stability.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years’ experience in sporting goods or bicycle industry.
At least 1 year experience in bike assembly or complete bike development.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Must be able to read and understand engineering specs & drawings, including GD&T.
Proficient with Excel, Word, One-note, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience with process & SOP audits.
Knowledge of quality tools (i.e. DOE, CPK, SPC, Fishbone, 8D, AQL, MSA…etc) & ISO quality system.
Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both in speaking and writing is essential.

BENEFITIAL SKILLS:
Experience working at an international company is a plus.
Knowledge of paint mask design and painting processes.
Familiar with USA/European market a plus.
Familiar with bicycle components.
Passionate about cycling.
