TRADING IN HOBBY AND CRAFT– OUTING SSC
(Not an Agent)


OUTING-SSC is a sourcing/trading company based in Shanghai that develops products in the field of craft and handmade products with brands located in the US and Europe. We are opening one new position for one Merchandiser Assistant. For the right candidates we offer real challenge, the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and a competitive package.

Because the end consumers for our products are 95% women, we are looking for female candidate only for this position.

Position : Merchandiser Assistant（助理采购员）

Job description:
Following a training to acquire an understanding of the products, you will be responsible for:
？ Source qualified vendors for existing products + new products
？ Travels in china to visit factories and attend exhibitions
？ Follow up all details including : samples tracking , production planning following ,communication with suppliers ,input data in quotation system
？ Handle price inquiries/checking the quality of samples in a timely manner
？ Analyze & Summarize the different suppliers and report to supervisor
？ Preventing problems at sampling & before the production stage
？ Assist to negotiate and problem solve with supervisor
？ Dealing samples with lab room and make sure all testing reports can be received on time .
Requirements:
？ Good written and spoken English
？ Good knowledge of Microsoft pack office
？ You must have a real interest in hobby and craft products such as sewing, haberdashery, knitting, paper making, card making,….

？ Good communication and interpersonal skill
？ Familiar with Microsoft Office Application, especially in Excel software
？ Knowledge of printing techniques or Kids game set or toy is a plus
