General
The Merchandiser is responsible for implementing FERM's policy and follow up projects development, as well as solving problems wherever needed of running orders and projects.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate with existing suppliers to improve or maintain pricing list, MOQ, lead time and make sure continuous and consistent supply.
- Work with Sourcing Manager to coordinate sample receiving, shipment and testing at China side
- Work with Product Manager to finalize the specification of the new products and get samples approved.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders' communication to expedite project/order process.
- Work with Sourcing Manager/Product Managers to identify new opportunities.
- Other projects such as Packing Improvement, Artwork coordination etc.
Qualification
- At least 5 year experience in international trading company, preferably in buying office
- Familiar European market, knowledge of power tools is a merit
- Fluent English both in spoken & written
- Ability to work under pressure
- Highly motivated and self-driven
