Position Summary:
The primary focus of this role is to retain customer accounts, extend contracts and increase services, revenue and profitability of these operations. In order to accomplish these growth goals, this person will strengthen existing customer relations as well as develop new and broader contacts with those organizations. Must identify new products and/or service opportunities and create a value proposition that can be understood and incorporated into the customer's Supply Chain strategy. Additionally, will pursue business opportunities with new, prospective customers in concert with technology and product capabilities.
Responsibilities Matrix:

Develop comprehensive understanding of customer's business model and their unique challenges to growth or competitiveness
Establish broad and deep relationships with strategic customer roles
Work closely with Operations, Solution and Finance team to ensure accurate scope and revenue capture, in accordance with commercial agreement
Proactively identify, pursue and track growth opportunities, evaluate against our current service line expertise and plans for future focus
New Business Development
Identify and track growth opportunities
Evaluate opportunities against our current service line expertise and plans for future focus
Capitalize on our current market sector knowledge, but also lead the efforts to diversify into strategic verticals
Develop broad networks through professional organizations, media and speaking engagements and industry conferences
Leverage resources to enhance competency of the service/products
Customer's Expectations of this Role:
Internal: Proactive awareness to customer's changing business climate and strategic partnership needs. Achieve growth plan in line with team and company objectives.
External: Proactive solutions and continuous display of value
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred, Business or Supply Chain Management
Specific Industry and customer knowledge, strong knowledge of local market
Supply Chain expertise, preferably in multiple service/product lines
5 or more years sales experience, over 3 years in logistics industry
Fluent English and knowledge of WMS/TMS preferred
