PURPOSE/SUMMARY
This SAP HANA Scripter will be accountable for in-depth SAP BODS knowledge to support design and development of complex integration processes by developing new interfaces, resolving defects, providing assistance in solving end user problems, answering development-related questions, and testing/validating development effort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Data management solutions in the scope of this position include, but are not limited to, data extraction, data transformation, data loading, data profiling, and data quality management.
2. This position will also be responsible for support and maintenance of existing data management applications, systems, and objects.
3. The Scripter will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining and supporting the data integration processes, data migration procedures using complex SAP Data Services job flows to extract from or load into SAP systems such as SAP ECC, PLM, SCM, BW as well as non-SAP systems.
4. This position also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with both business and technical stakeholders and a proven track record designing and implementing SAP HANA Solutions.
5. The candidate must be a team player as well as be able to work independently and manage development resources.
6. This position will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects and members of the Agile Scrum team to develop and implement applications that best meet the business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Demonstrate ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective BI Solutions.
2. Experience in creating logical data models and extensive data warehouse database design.
3. Strong SQL expertise.
4. Experience in ETL Tools such as Business Objects Data Services or other similar ETL technologies.
5. Good knowledge of Business Objects Central Management Console and experience with administrative BO tasks such as maintaining BOBJ security groups, folders, categories and optimizing BOBI tools performance.
6. Sound work experience and good understanding of data warehousing projects .
7. Good data analysis experience using SQL, analyzing redundant and inconsistent data, diagramming data flows and process flows.
8. Expertise in development and implementation of Data Quality and Data Governance concepts, achievement of compliance with strict and evolving Data Maintenance regulatory requirements.
9. Working knowledge of Data Quality/ Data Analysis using Information Steward would be a plus.
10. Experience with the flat files as a source and target over the network paths is preferred.
11. Good communication skills, specifically: listening to customer needs, restating those needs, and documenting your work.
12. Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology.
13. Willingness to learn new technologies.
14. Ability to prioritize and plan own tasks and estimate level of effort for assigned tasks.
15. Good presentation and communication skills.
16. Strong working knowledge of key Business processes.
17. Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, strong team working ability.
18. TEN leadership skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
1. 4 years University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
2. At least 3 years of combined experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services including Info Steward, SAP ABAP and other Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools.
