职位描述

Responsibilities
- Support sourcing activities;
- Set up the database of existing & potential suppliers and maintain the database timely.
- Visit, evaluate, and qualify suppliers against technical, quality and managerial metrics;
- Visit and evaluate the suppliers for technical review, commercial discussion, process audit review, quality check and problem solving purposes, etc;
- Evaluate, qualify, and rank supplier performance; recommend, implement and follow up corrective actions when necessary and where appropriate;
- Following up the whole process of production to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
- Recommend and implement new product development and cost savings initiative and alternatives;
- Design, implement, and manage a process that holds manufacturers accountable for quality assurance testing and reporting;
- Performs any duties as assigned by the General Manager or Sourcing Director

Requirements
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in sourcing or merchandising with international exposure and 2 years or more management experience. Working directly with North American customers is a plus
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (pref. in engineering, international trading or supply chain management)
- Solid furniture and decoration knowledge and experience including costing, market trends, quality, safety, import/export requirement, etc. New product development background preferred
- Good connection with local suppliers and vendors.
- High ethics compliance, self-motivated, well-organized, positive, energetic and strategic thinking
- Great communication and negotiation skill
- Good Mandarin, proficient English in reading and writing
- Willing to take challenges, result-driven and work under pressure
- Travel within China

Since the foundation, we have set up our Shanghai organization mostly as 4 teams, admin, furniture sourcing, apparel sourcing, and QC team.

 Besides the admin team which offers the internal service to Shanghai office, the other furniture and apparel sourcing teams provide the sourcing service to our US parent company as follows.
 These 2 teams work with US merchants and designers closely to specify all the products that need to be sourced.
 Source and control suitable vendors which can supply the suitable products and service in long term to our US business.
 Auditing every steps on each product development such as sample, quotation, order follow up, mass production, shipping…
 Accompany the US visitors for meetings, vendor visit, plant auditing, and all related works.
