Purpose of the Position:
The Tele Lead Generator (TLG) ?is responsible for carrying out marketing lead validation and telephone based lead generation campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
? Nurture and qualify all cold sales leads generated from all kinds of CMD Marketing efforts (offline, online, other)
o Probe into contact / suspect’s needs and interest in CMD solutions
o Execute against established processes and call scripts to qualify suspect into hot/warm sales leads
? Execute Tele Lead Gen campaigns
o Execute tele lead gen campaigns as part of Vertical Market Penetration efforts, new product launch support, and other commercial activities
o Navigate to correct individual within a site / company that is responsible for analysis relevant to CMD products
o Conduct number of calls at or above daily target
o Generate sales ready leads at or above target
o Provide feedback to Vertical Marketing Manager on quality of telephone script and potential improvements to increase conversion
o Embrace feedback from Marketing Manager on how to improve communications and or selling skills
o Manage follow-up activities in a rigorous manner prior to inputting leads into Salesforce.com
? Assist database leader in augmenting and maintaining Country Prospect and Customer Database. Collect relevant contact information necessary for strategic vertical market for future marketing activities
o Execute established data maintenance process to improve and refresh the database
? Contact to customers who have not purchased from us over set length of time
? Identify / reconfirm key contacts for a given site
? Qualify suspects procured from third parties (acquired lists)
o Ensure accurate data entry for all Prospect / Customer contact information to support future sales and marketing efforts
Qualifications:
? 2+ years of Marketing experience in a B2B industrial market; experience in Telemarketing and/or database management
? Strong communication and selling skills
o Able to politely and thoughtfully navigate to key decision makers and influencers of CMD
o Quick on his/her feet – able to ask thoughtful questions, able to respond to objections and identify ways for us to gain access to site / contact
o Able to go “off script” as necessary based upon direction of phone conversation yet remains focused on qualifying individual
o “Professionally social” – enjoys speaking on the phone with prospects and customers; demonstrates natural yet professional phone approach; able to build rapport during phone conversation
o Note: native language skills are sufficient; English language skills a plus but not a requirement
? Bright – able to grasp nature of CMD business, complexity of product lines
? Tenacious and resourceful ? unfazed by phone rejection / hang-ups
? Self-motivating
? Facile with computer skills ? able to conduct data entry to capture prospect / lead / customer contact information
Metrics that individual’s performance will be measured against:
? Average number of calls performed per day
? Number of sales ready leads generated per period (week / month)
? Opportunity value generated from TLG leads
