Buyer ladies garments

Hangzhou trading company called "Sample Room" is looking for a buyer to purchase ladies wear from factories in Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Sample Room is a European owned trading company. The goods are sold to brands and retailers in Europe.

Duties of the buyer are:

? Sourcing and developing new vendors
? Sourcing and developing fabrics and accessories
? Calculating material costs and fabric consumption
? Calculating CMT costs
? Delivery planning
? Negotiating price with factories and fabric suppliers to get the best price/value
? Translating Tech Packs to Chinese, explain vendor style requirements

Requirements are:

? Minimum 5 years experience in garments business. Experience in other * branches is not accepted.
? Experience in price negotiation. That means you know how to buy at a lower * price than competitors.
? Know how to calculate fabric consumption, CMT costs, material costs.
? Be able to work quickly and efficient.
? Have a network of fabric suppliers and experience in fabric sourcing.
? *Have a network of garment factories and experience in factory sourcing.
? *Fluent English level.
? *Native Chinese speaker

About the company:

Sample Room was founded in The Netherlands over 30 years ago. 10 years ago we opened our first office in China. Located in Hangzhou, the china office has a QC and merchandiser team. In The Netherlands we have a sales office that works with brands and retailers across Europe. Our clients all sell very fashionable ladies wear. Our business is about 60% woven and 40% knit.
