? Lead and direct all financial areas, including accounting, control and treasury functions, business planning and financing, budget preparation and tracking and risk management. This individual will also work very closely with the company's leadership team in Asia, Europe and North America.

? Emphasize the systems, procedures, and controls that force financial discipline, produce reliable and accurate information, enable effective decision-making and support the company's growth and continued profitability.

? Implement strengthened financial policies, procedures and systems. This includes reviewing, modifying and amending, as necessary, policies and procedures to keep pace with the company's operations.

? The Finance Controller's objective is to develop appropriate measurements of the company's performance, work with team members to achieve the results, and communicate these results to senior management.

? Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other managers to provide assistance with the identification and development of creative solutions to a full range of business opportunities and/or problems. Be the key contributor in quoting new products.

? Assure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the organization's records and ensure that financial statements are presented on a timely basis as required by the company.

? Ensure that the business operations comply with global policies and procedures as well as local regulations.

? Plan and direct short-term and long-term financial forecasting as an integral part of the business planning process.

? Evaluate and recommend changes in the company's cost structure, as appropriate.

The Candidate

Education/Certifications

An undergraduate degree in finance or accounting is desired. A Master's Degree in finance or business would be an added plus. CPA certification is also strongly preferred. Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required

Professional Qualifications

The individual should have significant accounting, controls and financial management experience, ideally with experience in a multidivisional, global manufacturing business. The individual should be a high-energy, results-oriented person with proven success in building and participating in teams.

Personal Characteristics

? Excellent business and analytical skills with a high degree of intelligence and creativity. Significant experience as a financial controller with a comprehensive knowledge of accounting, internal financial controls and financial tools.
